Admission to B.Sc. Nursing (Basic) in Jharkhand – Apply Now! Session 2025-2029
- The Jharkhand Government has given the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) the responsibility of conducting the nursing entrance exam for admissions to nursing colleges in the state.
- For admission to the 4-year B.Sc. Nursing (Basic) program (2025-2029), candidates must take the state-level entrance exam (B.Sc. NECE) conducted by JCECEB. Admission will be based on entrance exam performance.
- Eligible female candidates can apply online on the JCECEB website from June 18, 2025, to July 11, 2025.
- After the exam, qualified candidates will be called for counseling.

Eligibility requirements for admission:
- Age: The minimum age for admission shall be 17 year as on 31st December of the admission year. The maximum age limit for admission shall be 30 years.
- Minimum Educational Qualification:
- Candidate with Science who has passed the qualifying 12th Standard examination (10+2) from recognized board and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together and passed in English individually.
- Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government having Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology).
- Passed English subject.
- English is a compulsory subject in 10+2 for being eligible for admission to B.Sc. (Nursing).
- The candidate should be medically fit.
- Only female candidates are eligible to apply.
